Kristen Dukat (Findlay, OH) Art & Artists Kristen Dukat “Poppies” Fused Glass Picture

This hauntingly beautiful fused glass portrait of poppy flowers has so many layers of glass and enamel (perhaps 7 or 8) that the picture has an inviting three dimensional look.  The poppies seem to float within the portrait, almost as if they were underwater and you were looking at them through an aquarium glass wall.  The picture is about 4 and one-half inches by 7 inches and is mounted on top of the glass in the frame with Velcro.  The frame is 9 inches by 11 inches.
