Kristen Dukat (Findlay, OH) Kristen Dukat “Red Pear” Fused Glass Picture

In the classic tradition of a Renaissance still life painting of fruit, this enamel and fused glass picture of a red pear brings the fruit to life with its depth of field, giving the viewer the sense that the three-dimensional pear could be picked up and eaten.  The picture measures about 3 and three-quarters inches by 5 and one-quarter inches and is mounted on the frame glass (which now serves as a backboard for the picture) with Velcro.  The frame itself measures approximately 6 and one-quarter by 8 and one-quarter.   This picture is accompanied by an official Certificate of Provenance issued by The Collector Gallery at Objects of Desire Artful Living attesting to your ownership of an original work of art.
