Robert Wyland is one of the most prolific and celebrated artists of our day. His work is found in museums, galleries, public walls (especially his 100 large-scale “Whaling Walls” featuring life-size whales and other sea creatures), as well as in many public and private collections throughout the world. One of his massive murals is painted on the hull of the 1,000+ foot long Norwegian Bliss, the newest cruise ship of the Norwegian Cruise Line. His artwork has been used on specialty license plates in California and Florida and for a series of four United Nations stamps issued in 2010 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission. He works and lives in Laguna Beach, CA, Key West, FL, and Hawaii.
